My research deals with geo-hazard and georesource characterization and empirical model development over a range of spatial scales and data types. My specific research interests span (1) liquefaction characterization, (2) post-hazard characterization using remote sensing, (3) and georesource modeling. To achieve my research interests, I have adopted an inter-disciplinary research approach drawing from two main areas, specifically: aerial/satellite based remote sensing for obtaining data, and artificial intelligence/machine learning based methods for data processing and modeling.
